Faith Notes
April 5, 2018

Those of you who were able to pick up a copy of the 2017 Annual Report should have noticed the newly revised and updated members directory. This directory will be placed into our newly-designed website  into a section that will be only accessible via private passwords. Before that happens we would like to include an individual photo of each member listed.
Monica & Rodney Martin, with the assistance of Gloria Mohr, will start to take individual photos. This practice will continue for the next several weeks as our goal is to have an up-to-date photo of each member listed in the directory, so dress sharp and bring your best smile.

In addition to this photography project, Gloria, Rodney and Monica will be helping me to “stage” an “Active Virtual Tour” of our church and all of its facilities that will appear on the new website. An “Active Virtual Tour” involves using people to show-off our church rather than taking photos of empty rooms. Stay tuned for more information about this involved project.   You might be asked to be a part of a certain scene.
Thank you,
Mark Carroll

Immediately following Sunday’s worship service the Church Council will be holding its first “2nd Sunday Table” in the Fellowship Hall.  The purpose of this gathering is for Faith members to ask questions and share concerns as the congregation moves forward.  This Sunday’s discussion, in addition to questions and concerns from members, will include sharing content from the Council’s meeting with the Bishop on Palm Sunday.

We hope you will join us for this activity designed to improve communication at Faith.  A “2nd Sunday Table” discussion will be held on second Sundays each month.

The training will include review of responsibilities and also discussion and decision making about several aspects of this important ministry. Questions- contact Pastor Kathy

Our Sunday Adult class will resume this Sunday, April 8th @ 9:00am.
All are welcome.

Donations for the Heifer International campaign are still coming in. To date we have received over $950.00 to be donated to Heifer International. Thank you for your generous donations to help a worthy cause.

A free will offering was collected at the pancake breakfast on Easter Sunday and we wanted to thank the congregation for their generosity. We collected over $400.00 towards the cost of the gathering in Houston.
Thank you,
