We Are Called to Be Transformed As we move to embrace and live out Faith's new mission statement, we look at how Jesus transforms us. We are to transform our minds, serve, and love. We are no longer to follow the ways of this world, taking up our crosses to be living sacrifices. We are transformed by holy communion with Jesus and we celebrate the newness in our purpose through him.
Hide yourself in God, so when someone wants to find you they will have to go there first.
As we start our new summer series in the book of Daniel, we are reminded of all the challenges of going into new places, especially the peer pressure to fit in and follow the culture there. Come to worship to be strengthened in faith so we can step out to follow God no matter where we are sent.
In our Gospel reading, Jesus reminds us that we need to welcome our fellow disciples and share with others. Any welcome given is as if we are welcoming our Lord. Come to worship to share God's love and care for others in the world.
